3D MODELING • PHOTOREALISTIC RENDERING • ARCHITECTURAL VISUALIZATION

See Your Project Before It's Built

Photorealistic 3D modeling and rendering that brings architectural and interior design concepts to life. R7 Designs creates detailed visualizations that help homeowners, designers, builders, and developers see exactly what a project can look like before construction begins.

From a single interior perspective to a complete exterior visualization, we can transform plans, sketches, models, and design concepts into compelling images that make your project easier to understand, present, and sell.

What Does 3D Modeling & Rendering Include?

The right level of visualization depends on your project and how you plan to use the images. R7 can develop anything from a single realistic view of a room or exterior to a more complete 3D model and visualization package. Depending on your project, services may include:

INTERIOR RENDERINGS

Photorealistic views of kitchens, living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and other interiors that show the proposed design, materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting.

EXTERIOR RENDERINGS

Realistic views of homes, additions, commercial buildings, and other exterior projects showing materials, landscaping, lighting, and architectural features.

3D MODELING

Detailed three-dimensional models developed from architectural drawings, sketches, CAD files, or other project information.

MATERIAL & FINISH VISUALIZATION

See how flooring, tile, cabinetry, countertops, paint colors, siding, roofing, and other materials work together before making final decisions.

FURNITURE & DECOR VISUALIZATION

Explore furniture layouts, lighting, artwork, accessories, and other interior elements within the proposed space.

LIGHTING VISUALIZATION

Visualize how natural and artificial lighting can affect the appearance and atmosphere of the finished space.

DESIGN OPTIONS

Compare different layouts, materials, finishes, colors, or design directions before committing to a final concept.

MARKETING & PRESENTATION IMAGES

High-quality visualizations that can help architects, designers, builders, developers, and property professionals present a project to clients, buyers, or investors.

You don't need a finished design to get started.

We can create visualizations from architectural plans, CAD drawings, sketches, design concepts, material selections, or other project information. If you have the idea but need help visualizing it, we'll determine the best approach for your project.

Visualizations for Every Stage of a Project

3D visualization isn't just for showing off a finished design. It can help clients make decisions, help professionals communicate ideas, and help projects come to life before construction begins.

Homeowners

See your renovation, addition, new home, or interior design before you commit to construction, materials, or furnishings. Realistic visuals make it easier to understand what your finished space could look like.

Contractors & Builders

Give clients a more compelling way to understand your design. R7 can turn plans and concepts into polished interior and exterior visualizations for presentations, approvals, and design development.

Architects & Designers

Help clients visualize proposed construction, renovations, finishes, and design options before work begins. High-quality renderings can make it easier to communicate the finished result.

Developers & Property Owners

Create compelling visuals for new developments, renovations, marketing, investor presentations, or proposed property improvements.

What Do We Need to Get Started?

You don't need a finished 3D model to get a great rendering. We can work from architectural drawings, CAD files, sketches, inspiration images, material selections, or other project information.

ARCHITECTURAL PLANS

Floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, or other drawings that communicate the building or space.

CAD FILES & 3D MODELS

Existing CAD files, SketchUp models, Revit files, or other digital models can be used when available.

DESIGN CONCEPTS

Sketches, mood boards, inspiration images, Pinterest boards, or other references that communicate the intended look and feel.

MATERIALS & FINISHES

Flooring, tile, cabinetry, countertops, siding, roofing, paint colors, fixtures, furniture, or other selections you'd like represented.

PHOTOS & EXISTING CONDITIONS

Photos of an existing space or property can help us understand the current conditions and create a more accurate visualization.

YOUR VISION

Tell us what you're trying to achieve. Even if the design isn't fully developed, we can work with the information available and help determine what's needed.

Starting with one room or designing the whole home?

Either works. We can help with a single space or develop a cohesive design across multiple rooms. The scope is tailored to your project and the level of support you need.

How the Rendering Process Works

01 — SEND US YOUR PROJECT

Share your plans, drawings, ideas, inspiration, and any other information you have.

02 — DEFINE THE VISION

We'll establish the desired views, design direction, materials, level of detail, and final deliverables.

03 — BUILD THE MODEL

Our team develops the 3D model and prepares the scene based on the agreed project scope.

04 — RENDER & REFINE

We produce the initial visualization and make the agreed-upon revisions to refine the design and presentation.

05 — FINAL DELIVERY

You'll receive the finished high-resolution renderings in the agreed format for presentation, design development, marketing, or other intended use.

Need help figuring out what you need?

That's what we're here for. Tell us what you're trying to show, who the images are for, and what information you already have. We'll recommend the appropriate level of 3D modeling and visualization for your project.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about 3D modeling and rendering? Here are answers to some of the questions we hear most often.

Can you create a photorealistic rendering from my floor plans?

Yes. However, a photorealistic rendering requires more than simply importing a floor plan. The space or building must be developed as a detailed 3D model, including the geometry, materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and other elements needed to create a realistic image.

Why does the level of detail affect the price?

The more accurate and detailed you want the final rendering to be, the more time is required to build the underlying 3D model. A simple conceptual visualization may require relatively limited modeling, while a highly accurate photorealistic rendering may require detailed CAD/3D modeling of architectural elements, millwork, furniture, materials, fixtures, landscaping, and other features.

Do you model the project by hand?

Depending on the project, yes. To achieve a high level of accuracy, our team may need to manually build and refine the 3D geometry from the architectural drawings and project information provided. The more detail and accuracy required, the more modeling work is involved.

Can you make the rendering look exactly like my plans?

We can model the project to a high level of accuracy, but the level of accuracy depends on the information provided and the scope of the project. If you need the rendering to closely match the architectural drawings, specific materials, furniture, millwork, fixtures, or other details, those elements need to be modeled and incorporated into the scene.

Can you work from an existing 3D model?

Yes. If you already have a usable 3D model, it may reduce the amount of modeling required. We'll review the model to determine whether it contains the level of detail and accuracy needed for the desired final rendering.

Can you create a rendering if my design isn't finished?

Yes. We can work with concepts, sketches, preliminary plans, and other design information. We'll determine what needs to be developed or modeled based on the level of visualization you're looking for.

Can I request different levels of detail?

Absolutely. We can tailor the modeling and rendering scope to your needs. A conceptual image, design-development rendering, and highly detailed photorealistic visualization require different levels of modeling and refinement.

How many revisions are included?

Revision allowances depend on the project scope and will be established in your project quote. Significant changes to the design or requests that require substantial additional modeling may require additional time and cost.

How much does a rendering cost?

Pricing depends on the complexity of the project, number of views, level of modeling required, desired realism, materials and details, and revision requirements. A highly accurate photorealistic rendering requires significantly more modeling and production time than a simple conceptual image.

Ready to See Your Project?

Send us your plans, sketches, existing model, or even an early concept. We'll review what you have and recommend the appropriate level of 3D modeling and rendering for the result you're looking for.
